LISTENING AND LEARNING.

My heart has been sinking everyday to see all the news. I don’t even know how to make my feelings into words, I don’t know where to start, but I have been trying to educate myself and do my best to support this matter.

After “showing up in my own way”, I questioned myself “Is there anything else I could do using my platform?” and thought sharing black-owned businesses in the area, was the best way I could help as a “Delaware Blogger” or whatever you call. There are many pages featuring black-owned businesses all over the world, but there are only a few that are highlighting specifically here in Wilmington, Delaware. So I’ve decided to make a list and shared a bit on my Instagram, but I realized that my feed will be constantly updated and these posts will eventually be hard to find. So I wanted to make sure I share on my blog too, so we can keep continuing to support these businesses always and forever. I want everyone including myself not to forget, this is a matter we must support and be aware of to REALLY change the world, for the justice they have been fighting for generation to generation.
