Accessories Are Spices
Fashion is like cooking.
When I make a meal and something is missing, I add some spices - when I wear an outfit and something is missing, I add some accessories. When I make a meal that already has enough of everything, I won't try to spice it up - when I wear something crazy, I won't add any other crazy items because it's just unnecessary and obnoxious. I think fashion is very similar to cooking. Although I know cooking is way more complicated than I think, but at the end both cooking and fashion, it's simply all about balance, or I'd say "math".
If you've noticed, I've been wearing modern & preppy style more often, maybe because I'm getting older I'm slightly shifting my style to a bit more of a mid-twenties look in my own way. Like, from "boho hippie" to "boho modern", I would say. And I've been loving gold jewelry and scarves even more recently! Again, when I wear something simple, I need some fun accessories to spice up my look!
About a month ago, I met up with Anya for the first time. She was the cutest human I've ever met! From Ukraine, she came all the way to the states to expand her photo magic. Her photos are very clean and magnificent - I literally fell in love with her - check out her and her photos from her Instagram @anyainphilly and @apachenya!
Featuring this 100% silk scarf from Greek luxury scarf brand Emmanuelle Silk, and my fave gold earrings by Tace Jewelry. They complimented my simple modern look, the Philly street style. These genuine items are must haves for spring and lifesavers to transition from winter to spring!
I felt like a full grownup woman this day - Did I cook this outfit well?
